Make sure you clean the copper pipe then you will not have any issues.

Keep the valve open. Pressure will build and push the copper out. Especially if your slow like this video

You didn't debur the inside. I'll admit it's a creative use of the rems debuting tool. Never thought the pointy inside part of it would fit in a drill chuch so I've never tried it. I know the outside edge is all that really matters but it's still best practice to clean both the inside and outside of where you cut

Those big press fittings look so goofy lol they do seem to work good but you start getting up into the inch and a half to inch fittings and when you press them they just look like mangled up half ass things that are not going to hold up

I’ll take press over sharkbite or pex any day. I still support knowing how to solder……but man, this thing is a time saver.

You know, the only problem i see with this sytem is if you ever need to replace one pipe of fitting somewhere... 🤔 Now you're completely locked into a Pandoras box. With soldering, you can simply heat, removed, clean, and resolder the new pieces in, and keep to the true measurements.
